Greenfern Medicinal Marijuana Limited is a 100% NZ owned and operated therapeutics company based in Normanby, Taranaki - sitting alongside a small hydro power station over looking stunning Mount Taranaki. Our vision is to produce products that improve the lives of suffering New Zealanders who seek an alternative, more holistic approach to their medication intake.

Greenfern is planning to undertake research to cultivate cannabis for human medicinal and research purposes. This research will spearhead the development of our future product range. Our business is waiting on a proposed Amendment Bill to the Misuse of Drugs Act 1975 to be finalised until we will be able to sell our products direct to those in need, however, until then we will develop our cultivars.

Our team

Our team, advisors, partners and investors are a very diverse and unique group who all have a strong and aligned desire to bring medicinal marijuana to the mainstream in New Zealand.

Tim Johnson - Director

Wide range of experience in New Zealand including in the forestry industry, FMCG, agriculture and energy. He is also Director and major shareholder of Renewable Power Ltd, owners of the Normanby hydropower station which is the site upon which the cultivation facility is planned to be located.

Dan Casey - Director

A civil engineer and project manager with over 15 years industry experience internationally. Experienced in all facets of the project lifecycle from initiation through to close out.

Daniel Leyden - Director

Managed a small business for many years before taking a position as a project manager, managing both small and large scale domestic and commercial electrial installations.

Rachael Bailey

Administrator and member of the Green Fairies support forum on Facebook which connects people in need of alternative medicinal products.

Brendan Partridge

Orignally from New Zealand but now residing in Asia. An investor in international Hotels and working for a Fortune 500 Company.

TJ Irvin

Hemp farmer, entrepreneur and business owner of The Slammer Tool. TJ has a wealth of knowledge within the medicinal cannabis industry in the United States and has an active hemp growing licence here in NZ.

Thorin Siglin

Born in Colorado, USA and raised in Australia as a dual citizen, Thorin has been involved with medical cannabis since 2010 when he applied for a medical cannabis license and started working closely with Laplata Labs. With a field of speciality in cannabis genetics and distribution, he's worked at events such as the hightimes cannabis cup and California's Emerald Cup in Santa Rosa and travelled around the US and abroad educating people about quality strains and how they can benefit them as medicine.
